Dr Tonia Norton is a female Veterinarian.
Previously the owner of Loving Care Mobile Veterinary Service, established in 2014, Tonia brings a regular, professional and highly experienced mobile veterinary service to The Village Vet.
As a mobile vet, every day offers the opportunity to build new and renew existing relationships with our animal patients and their families.
After qualifying as a Veterinarian at Sydney University in 1982, Tonia travelled overseas and worked in the UK. At the end of 1983 she returned home and worked both locum and permanent positions all over Australia. Her faithful German Shepherd dog, Jess travelling with her everywhere. Tonia settled into a position of Senior Practitioner at Figtree Veterinary Hospital and after fourteen years a took on the role of Vet Director.
Previously, Tonia volunteered with Vets Beyond Borders, WSPA and the Esther Honey Foundation desexing and treating street dogs in Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Bali and most recently Cambodia where she has three beautiful sponsored children whom she visits regularly.
