Dr Suead Zumut is a female Veterinarian.
Suead has been working as a small animal veterinarian (previously at Vet HQ in Double Bay) since her graduation from the University of Sydney in December 2020.
Before becoming a qualified veterinarian, she graduated with a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) from Macquarie University in 2012 that involved neuroscience research.
A lifelong passion for animals has led to10+ years working with marine mammals, reptiles, sharks, rays and many other wildlife species both in Australia and overseas. Highlights include working as a marine mammal carer/trainer for dugongs and dolphins in Sydney and Dubai and volunteer/placement work at Taronga Zoo Wildlife Hospital.
Suead has a keen interest in surgery and surgery-related medicine. She is fascinated and motivated by seeing, every day, how powerful and wonderful the human-animal bond is.
