Dr Ruby Schrijnders-Schmidt is a female Veterinarian.
Ruby (Roelie) graduated from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2009. After having completed a research project on elephant fertility in South Africa, she ended up as a mixed animal veterinarian on the island of Aruba, where she met her husband. Together they made the big move to Sydney, Australia, in 2011 before settling in on the Sunshine Coast in 2014 where she has been a small animal veterinarian ever since.
Ruby enjoys all aspects of general practice from vaccinations to challenging surgeries, but especially loves providing relief to pets with sore ears and itchy skin. Her other special interests are in senior pet management, ophthalmology and surgery.
