Dr Richard Mitchell is a male Veterinarian.
Dr Mitchell graduated from Massey University in 1990 and after a short stint in practice in New Zealand travelled to the UK where some years were spent traveling and working in general practice.
He subsequently completed a Small Animal Surgery residency at the University of Bristol in 1998.
In 2004 Dr Mitchell passed the European college of Veterinary Surgeons Specialists examinations in Small Animal Surgery. He is now a registered specialist in both Australasia and Europe.
Dr Mitchell moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2006 where he established North Coast Veterinary Specialist and Referral Centre (NCVS). 2016 marks his tenth year anniversary providing specialist surgical services on the Coast. While he loves all aspects of surgery Dr. Mitchell is most passionate about minimally invasive procedures, joint repair, hip replacement and arthroscopic surgeries.
