Dr Rebecca Blanchette is a female Veterinarian.
Whilst studying Veterinary Medicine at Sydney University, Rebecca did 2 vet student placements at the Howard Springs Vet clinic. Her skill set overall compatibility with the practice made it a very logical choice for her to join the team in 2018 after graduating.
Soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery are of particular interest to her as is working with medical and behavioural cases. Whilst studying, Rebecca gained additional insight into the veterinary industry as she volunteered as a veterinary nurse for 5 years, both in Australia and New Zealand to broaden her experience.
Having grown up with horses and participated in equine events, Rebecca is very confident working with large animals and is regularly seen out at the Darwin Racetrack representing the practice in the capacity of supervising Veterinarian.
