Dr Melissa Ewens is a female Veterinarian.
With no veterinary course originally offered in SA, Mel completed a degree in Health Science and worked as a researcher for the health of women and babies. Nevertheless, her love of animals persisted, so as part of the University of Adelaide's inaugural veterinary class, she graduated in 2013 and has since worked in small animal practice around Adelaide. She also is the Cat Advocate for Tea Tree Gully Veterinary Hospital.
Mel has an immeasurable love of cats and a passion for feline medicine. She is currently completing a 2-year Feline Medicine course via the University of Sydney with a view to obtain feline memberships in the future.
