Dr Martine Visser is a female Veterinarian.
Martine graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Murdoch University in Perth, WA in 2019. During her studies Martine did various placements involving avian and exotic species. She completed an externship at the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital and spent time at various zoos and avian and exotics clinics including Perth and Singapore Zoo. During this time, she had the opportunity to work all sorts of animals from Bengal tigers to endangered Carnaby’s black cockatoos. After graduation she followed her dream and moved to Brisbane to work with birds but has also gained experience in small animal, exotics and shelter medicine before starting at Brisbane Bird and Exotics Veterinary Service in 2022.
