Dr Lidwien Verdegaal is a female Veterinarian.
Dr Lidwien Verdegaal qualified as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University, The Netherlands, in 1996. After completing her residency, she qualified as an Equine Medicine Specialist with the Royal Dutch Association of Veterinary specialists and is a Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM). She gained a wide range of clinical experience in equine medicine working at private hospitals in the Middle East: for the Jordanian Royal Family in Jordan and in Kuwait. She moved to South Australia in 2011 and is passionate for all medicine cases, in particular emergency and critical care and sport medicine. Her current part-time PhD research into heat stress & thermoregulation of exercising horses is closely complete.
