BVSc, Veterinarian
Dr Lachlan Kestevan is a male Veterinarian.
Dr Lachlan loves the thrill of dealing with challenging and interesting cases, where he feels he truly makes a difference for both patients and their families. In combination with the love and attention given by animals who are a joy to work with, this drew Dr Lachlan to emergency medicine.
As a Senior Veterinarian, Dr Lachlan advises upcoming vets to engage and get excited about every new of different case they see. He says, “you will make plenty of mistakes, but it is how you bounce back and learn from them that matters”.
His most memorable case was the biggest surgery he’s ever performed – a general wound, laparotomy and thoracotomy on a young German Shepard that had a severe stake injury that penetrated through his chest and abdomen who later recovered.
