Dr Kim McPherson is a female Veterinarian.
My family come from Longreach QLD so I was raised on a sheep and cattle property. I graduated from Queensland Uni with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science way back in 1990, I first worked in mixed practice at Dorrigo and Bellingen for 3 years before heading overseas for another 3 years of work and travel which was fantastic. Soon after my return I came up to Mackay and Brad and I set up the Valley vet surgery from scratch, and we opened in May 2001. Since then we have grown rapidly thanks to the support from our local community and all our amazing staff over the years. We are very lucky to have such a professional team of veterinarians and veterinary nurses who share my desire to provide high quality veterinary care in both large and small animal medicine. I only do small animal work now, with surgery being my main interest, although I enjoy consulting too.
