Dr Kate McGinnis is a female Veterinarian.
Dr Kate earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2020 and has been practicing in Queensland ever since. She completed a rotating internship at a specialist hospital and has also worked in small animal general practice. Originally from San Francisco, California, Kate moved to Australia in 2017 and has never looked back. She also has a bachelor of science in zoology and has always nurtured a passion for exotic pets – having kept snakes, lizards, rodents, birds and one tortoise. She has always known she wanted to work in exotic medicine and has special interests in avian and reptile medicine.
