Dr John Ryan is a male Veterinarian.
Dr John began his Veterinary career in mixed dairy practice in Gippsland, country Victoria before returning to Queensland in 1980. His extensive knowledge and experience over the next 40 years as a dairy consultant Veterinarian, educator and companion animal Veterinarian in private practice has made Dr John a dedicated and exceptional Veterinarian.
Over the course of his career, Dr John expanded his skills in Integrative Veterinary Medicine. Integrated Veterinary Medicine focuses on the whole animal. It combines the best of conventional western Veterinary medicine and therapies from other disciplines. e.g. Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Veterinary medicine, healthy nutrition and natural medicine. He is a member of the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapy which is a world-leading educator in natural medicine.
Dr John is based at Jacobs Well Veterinary Surgery and aims to provide his patients with the best integrated approach to achieve healing, wellbeing and better health. He loves caring for senior pets of all descriptions with chronic diseases and enjoys being able to make their lives more comfortable in their senior years.
