BVSc (Syd), Veterinarian
Dr Jessica Li is a female Veterinarian who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin (as well as English).
Jessica grew up locally in the northern suburbs of Sydney. Thanks to her parents and grandparents being animal lovers, she has fond memories of her many pets growing up and by Jess’s 10th birthday she was determined to become a vet.
Her dream came true when she graduated from University of Sydney in 2003 with Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Her first full time job was at a busy mixed practice in the South Coast, NSW where she worked with all creatures great and small. During her time in the countryside, she completed a post-graduate course in Ophthalmology, Emergency and Critical Care.
One of the highlights of Jess’s career is working as a volunteer vet for Vets Beyond Borders in the remote Leh region of India. Here she gained invaluable experiences in both veterinary skills and life outside of Australia.
Returning home, Jess worked as a Clinical Manager at Northside Emergency Veterinary Services (NEVS) for a few years.
Jess has a special interest in emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery and exotic pets.
Jess is a passionate, kind and dedicated vet who is devoted to providing her patients with the best care.
