Dr Fiona Gibson is a female Veterinarian.
Fiona graduated from Sydney University with honours in 1995 and after initially practising in Sydney, she moved to the UK and practised in busy small animal clinics for over two years. After returning to Australia in 2000, Fiona worked in a Sydney vet hospital near the airport where she did a lot of export preparation work for transporting pets overseas, along with being a general practice vet.
Fiona is very experienced in preparing pets for export overseas, and this along with practice management work keeps her busy. Fiona also keeps her veterinary skills and knowledge fresh by completing various online courses in topics such as pain management and small animal internal medicine. The major advantage of setting up a veterinary hospital in the Blue Mountains is that Fiona and Steve have been able to combine raising a family, enjoying the outdoor lifestyle and sharing veterinary duties within the practice.
