Dr Felicity Smith is a female Veterinarian.
Dr Felicity’s love of animals and the important part they play in the family dynamic started in her formative years on her parent’s hobby farm in the Adelaide Hills area of South Australia.
She graduated from Melbourne Uni with Honours in 1991. Dr. Felicity found a new graduate position at a mixed practice in Port Lincoln straight out of Uni, starting her Veterinary career as a mixed vet in sheep country. Gradually she came to focus on small animals and after a short stint in Brisbane made her way to the North of the state, settling in Townsville 25 years ago.
She spent her early career working as a general practice vet in Townsville. Taking a break from clinical practice for a while she entered the world of academia at JCU concentrating on the area of Human Epidemiology until recently.
Recognising that animals are a core part of the modern family unit her Commitment to lifelong pet care and her love of animals has brought her back to small animal clinical practice at Bohle Veterinary Surgery where she has fast become an integral part of our team.
She loves that our clients treat their pets as family members and knows that her broad knowledge across all aspects of pet health and disease management is valued by our clients. She loves helping uphold our commitment to quality care and outstanding customer service.
