Dr Christopher McIver is a male Veterinarian.
Chris grew up in Liverpool, UK and studied Veterinary Science at the University of Bristol in the UK. Since graduating in 1994 he has worked mostly in small animal practice with some time spent treating farm animals and horses. Chris has worked within a large specialist clinic at Wimbledon, UK, as an emergency and critical care vet. After two years of night work he realised that being a creature of the night was not a long term choice so he took a career break and followed Debra, his wife into teaching at Secondary School level and from 2004 Chris taught high school science for the next 5 years.
In January 2011 Chris joined the University of Sydney Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Camden, NSW, a rural vet teaching practice and was Unit Head of the first opinion small animal unit where he was responsible for teaching final year students practical medicine and surgery while managing the day to day work of a vet practice. After spending holidays watching the Tour down Under in Adelaide he decided to make the move to South Australia and was delighted to become the new proprietor of the Reynella Veterinary Clinic.
