Dr Amber Jurek is a female Veterinarian.
I grew up in Adelaide and pursued my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, graduating from the University of Adelaide as DUX of my class for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. I then launched my professional career at a busy multi-practice veterinary group where the fast-paced environment allowed me to accelerate and challenge my skillset and knowledge. I then moved to Hawthorn Vet in early October and instantly thoroughly enjoyed the community-oriented focus. I am grateful to be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team.
I absolutely love learning and delving deep into cases, so whilst I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and the breadth of opportunity this profession provides, I particularly look forward to fostering my interests in diagnostic imaging and internal medicine. I constantly strive to provide attention to detail and high standards of care for my human clients and furry members of the family - and hope to continue providing this service to the Hawthorn Vet clients and community.
