Dr Amanda Hulands-Nave is a female Veterinarian.
Amanda graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and from Murdoch University with a Masters of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery; her thesis involved work on a new type of insulin for treating diabetic cats. Amanda also has been admitted (by examination) to both the Small Animal Internal Medicine and Dentistry Chapters of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists. Amanda’s special interests are dentistry, endocrinology, intensive care, ultrasonography, reproduction services and behavioral consultations. Amanda works mainly at Newcomb and Grovedale and has experience in Avian (Bird) Medicine. She has spent terms as presidents of the Geelong Branch of the Australian Veterinary Association (including other board positions) and on the board of the Geelong Animal Welfare Society. She is currently a committee member of the Australian Veterinary Dental Society. Amanda is the proud owner of a cheeky chocolate labrador called Lochie and gorgeous black and white cat named Rupert.
