Dr Ali Coleman is a female Veterinarian.
I grew up in Melbourne surrounded by dogs, cats , birds, turtles and the occasional sheep. Many of my holidays as a kid was spent on a diary farm in Northern Victoria so like most of us in this industry I felt a close bond with animals from a young age.
After graduating from Veterinary Science in 1990, I moved to Adelaide and have lived in Blackwood since 1991. I spent many years travelling to the other side of town for work and have worked in some great practices over the years. I have always worked with small animals and I find it very rewarding to have a great relationship with people and their much loved pets. I am very fortunate to now work at Blackwood Vets with Mary Ann. The Blackwood Area is a very special place to work and live in.
I enjoy updating my knowledge by going to various conferences around Australia. It's also a great way to catch up with colleagues I haven't often seen for many years.
